It's a 12 km trek split over two days, with time to enjoy the lagoons, take in the sunset and get a glimpse of daily life for a native family living inside the National Park.

Baixa Grande OasisDay 1

Barreirinhas/Atins → Rio Negro → Oásis Baixa Grande

Baixa Grande Oasis

Pickup starts at 4:30 AM in Barreirinhas, with hotel pickups included. For guests staying in Atins, pickup starts at 6:30 AM.

The group travels by 4x4 for about 2 hours toward the National Park, to the area near Rio Negro. Along the way, there's a stop for a breakfast snack and to watch the sunrise.

The trek begins in the Bandeira/Rio Negro area. It's about 6 km, covered in 2 to 3 hours, with stops for swimming in the lagoons.

Arrival at Oásis Baixa Grande is expected around 10:30 AM. After lunch and some rest, the group heads back to the dunes to enjoy the lagoons and watch the sunset.

Lunch, dinner and overnight stay take place at a native family's home, in hammocks.

AtinsDay 2

Oásis Baixa Grande → Rio Negro → Canto do Atins → Atins

Atins

After breakfast, served at 7 AM, the return trek starts around 8 AM.

This stretch is about 6 km, covered in 2 to 3 hours, with stops for swimming in the lagoons and free time on the dunes.

Arrival at the Bandeira/Rio Negro area is expected around 10:30/11 AM. From there, a 4x4 takes the group to Canto do Atins, where lunch will be served.

After lunch and a short rest, the group continues by 4x4 to Atins, with arrival at the hotels expected around 2 PM.
