About the tour
A full-day tour to explore Santo Amaro and different areas of the Lençóis Maranhenses, with transfer by 4x4 vehicle and stops for a swim in the lagoons.
Departure is from 8am, with pickup at the inn in Barreirinhas, and arrival in Santo Amaro happens around 9:30am or 10am. There, you switch to a local 4x4, and there's time for anyone who'd like to book lunch.
The tour then continues to the first lagoon, with stops for a swim at whichever lagoons are in the best condition during the season. The route continues toward the village of Betânia, where you cross the Alegre River by small boat.
After lunch, the group continues the circuit to explore other lagoons and enjoy the sunset. The return to Barreirinhas is expected between 7pm and 8pm.

Three costs are not included.
Lunch, municipal park access fee (about R$ 10 per person), and the boat crossing on Rio Alegre (about R$ 10 per person).
The lagoons change depending on the season.
